What are the recent updates?

The entire city of Minas Tirith has been put in and there are several merchants that reside therein. Much of Mordor has been added, such as Barad Dûr and the Black Gate. Many areas have been added south of Lothlorien... Wold, Nindalf, Dagorlad, and the Dead Marshes. Some additional Good cities have also been added. Such as: Helm's Deep, Henneth Annun, and The Wood of Greenleaves home of Legolas.

What do I need to know about the world?

Your Alignment matters here. If you are of Good alignment the Free Peoples of Middle Earth have allied to fight the power of Sauron. These havens and cities are where you can seek refuge. If you are of Evil alignment you serve Sauron the Dark Lord of Mordor. Places that ally with Sauron will be your refuge. If you choose to walk the middle ground.. There are several neutral cities open to you as well as Evil and Good.

You Do Not need to purchase rest provisions to be able to rest. Resting can only be done every 4 hours, this only applies to level 6 and up.

We have fixed death so that you cannot exit the game and come back fully recovered. This is done using a death amulet placed on the corpse at the time you expire. In most instances this amulet is destroyed once you have been properly revived. However if you are ressurected by another player the Death Amulet will still be on your character. Drop it immediately. Otherwise the next time you log on you will be dead again.

Player names can not be any major character names from any book written by Tolkien. These names are reserved for the module NPC's. If you have taken a name from the books your character will be deleted with the next reset.

Player killing is allowed here. If you are of Good alignment you may slay those of Evil alignment and vise versa. However rampant, mindless player killing will not be tolerated and you will be banned for life. Neutral alignment must Roleplay out a reason for slaying an alignment. Do not make a habit of killing those of much lower level or you Will be banned.
