Have you spoken with the Roleplaying NPC?
entry #0 ¶
Hah I have brought down another server to its knees!
Really? Is LOTR gone for good?
entry #1 ¶
Well not really I just wanted to say that.
So whats going on?
entry #2 ¶
The Internet has been under some serious Denial of Service attacks. Which has caused quite a bit of lag for gamers. There are many Internet service providers who are experiencing this.
Hmm I know there is lag but I bet its just this server.
entry #3 ¶
Here are links to a couple ISP's network status. They can validate these attacks. http://www.linkline.com/support/status.asp and then our server ISP is http://24.48.59.187/forms/netstats.cfm then choose location 'California' and 'Diamond Bar'.
Ok so, what does this all mean then.
entry #4 ¶
The game will be run as normal. But if you experience a wave of really bad lag all of a sudden. Pleasedo not complain or lay blame on the server or its creators. We do our best to make it fun. Until the Attacks die down it might be preferable to do more Roleplaying than hack and slash.
