entry #10 (if sc_020) ¶
Have your returned triumphant?
Not yet good King, the blockade still stands however I will be victorious soon.
Yes King Theoden, the blockade is no more. Here is the proof of the matter, the scythe of the beast.
entry #11 → at_040 ¶
Hurrah! Three cheers for <FullName>. Thy deed is great! And for reward I can offer you three of my most prized possessions. What would be to you taste? The Spear? The Helm? Or the Shield?
The Spear.
entry #14 → at_037 ¶
So be it. I have opened the Edoras coffers and provided you with some coin for the road. I wish that it could be more but we still have a great long road ahead of us. Once again, thank you for your service and sacrifice.
I thank you Theoden your gifts are most generous. Fare well.
The Helm.

entry #9 (if sc_023) ¶
Ah Greetings <FullName>, the Golden Halls of Edoras brighten with your presence.
entry #0 ¶
Hail young one. You come upon Rohan in troubles times. Ah but now I am so old and not as powerful as I once was. If only there was a way!
A way for what great king?
entry #2 ¶
My trusted friend Worm Tongue has left for Isengard. But I fear he may never come back.
Your servant has gone missing?
entry #3 ¶
Nay I sent him to Saruman the wise seeking counsel. The Plains of Rohan are beset by orcs. And even fouler things groan from the mountains.
This is grave news surely Saruman will look after him
entry #4 ¶
I'm afraid the road to Saruman and Isengard has been cut off. A foul band of a new breed of orcs have blockaded the way!
A new breed of orcs?
entry #5 ¶
Yes black devilry they are and claim the allegiance of the White Hand, whatever that is.. I sent messengers to Isengard for Worm Tongue was long overdue. They came back bloodied and broken. If you are brave enough.. I would reward you handsomely for clearing the blockade.
What odds do I have of survival?
entry #6 ¶
I sent my best and bravest after Worm Tongue and out of 30... Twenty of them now lay still forever more.
That is suicide! I must object to being sent to my death. I am sorry great king but you are better off saving your numbers here.
I will go on your behalf Lord Theoden. If I die in battle it will be glorious and for a righteous cause.
entry #7 ¶
My heart warms to hear this. Perhaps it is not as dark a day as I had imagined. There is one there who is their leader. They call him, The White Hand Destroyer. Bring me his weapon of choice and I will consider the blockade broken!
